Ingredients:
1. Rajma- ¼ cup
2. Whole urad dal-¼ cup
3. Chana dal-¼ cup
4. Cream-¼ cup
5. cumin seeds-¼ tbsp
6. Mustard seeds-¼ tbsp
7. One chopped onion
8. Two chopped tomatoes
9. Four sliced green chillies
10. Half inch grated ginger
11. One pinch turmeric powder
12. Red chilli powder- 1 tbsp
13. Chopped coriander leaves- 2 tbsp
14. Butter- 1 tbsp
15. Salt to taste
Method
a) Soak all dals whole night.
b) In the morning wash them thoroughly put in a pressure cooker and cook.
c) When it cools down mash them a little and keep aside.
d) Heat butter in a pan, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and fry until they splutter. Then add ginger and chillies.
e) Add chopped onions and tomatoes. Let the onion turn ppink and the tomato cooked.
f) Add salt,red chilli powder and turmeric powder,stir the mixture well.
g) Then add the mashed dals and boil for few minutes.
h) Garnish with cream and mix coriander leaves.
Serve hot with roti or hot rice.
